The release of Halo 3 is September 25th. In anticipation of this event I purchased an Xbox 360. I've avoided purchase of the machine for this long because of overheating. I'm going to use this post to track my experiance with the xbox 360.
I purchased my xbox 360 from future shop on September 14th 2007. I choose future shop as they offered a 3 year warranty for $80. The competion ebgames offered a 1 year warranty for $80.
EB Games Rant
EB Games customer service depends on which store you go to. I hated my experiance at the following stores: Maple Ridge, Coquitum Centre and Calgary. The customer service is terrible, staff didn't seem to know much about the products they were selling, finding an adapter your on your own and long waiting periods to talk to a salesman are just some of my issues.
However EB Games stores that get the thumbs up from me are: Penticton and Kelowna. In Penticton there is one salesperson know around town as "EB Games guy" (I think his name is Dale) he knows more about video games than any other salesman I've ever talked to.
My Xbox 360 Info
I'd like to include some information about my xbox unit:
I purchased the "Pro" bundle with the 20 gig harddrive it came with two games: Tony Hawk's Pro 8 and Forza Motorsport 2. I like both of these games and find them highly addictive.
If you have an xbox live account, add me my gamertag is: lucifur82. Where did I come up with this name? I have a cat, he is bad, we named him Lucifur (notice the fur). Also I was born in 1982 so the 82 give a little info about me. Previously I've had 2 other xbox live accounts which are now in the Hall of Fame they where "CraZy675" and "Lucifur".
